In September, Hong Kong Institute for Monetary and Financial Research (HKIMR) released their report titled, “Long-term Investing in Hong Kong: Developments and Opportunities in a Digital Economy”, with some key takeaways of the study as follows:
Join us for a research findings presentation and panel discussion, co-hosted by Hong Kong Academy of Finance (AoF)/HKIMR, PwC, The Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (HKIFA), and The Hong Kong Retirement Schemes Association (HKRSA).
Together, we will explore consumer needs, market gaps, and trust barriers that are limiting retirement income solutions in Hong Kong. By the end of the session, the panel will define clear design principles for consumer-centric retirement income products, outline ways to strengthen advice and trust, and agree on near-term ecosystem actions for providers, distributors, and policymakers.
